The Peacock Inn ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This notice explains what we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

• Bookings — when you reserve a table or a room, the details you provide (name, contact details, party size, dates) are processed by our booking partners, ResDiary (tables) and Caterbook (rooms).
• Enquiries — if you use our contact or private-events forms, we receive your name, contact details and message.
• Newsletter — if you sign up, we store your email address to send occasional news and offers.

How we use it

To take and manage your booking, answer your enquiry, send the newsletter you asked for, and improve the website. To improve the website we keep anonymous visit totals (pages viewed, rough location, type of device, clicks on booking links); these are counted without cookies, your IP address is never stored, and they can't identify you. We do not sell your data.

Sharing

We share booking details only with the relevant booking provider, and payment details are handled securely by those providers and Stripe (gift cards). We never see your full card details.

Your rights

Retention

We keep booking and enquiry records only as long as needed for the booking and our legal obligations.
